Admittedly a long trip (7-hour flight from Santiago), the sacrifice is worth its weight in stone. As you stand before the mysterious moai statues, you can't help but ponder the meaning of these colossal stone figures. The island's isolated natural beauty, with its rugged coastline and volcanic landscapes, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to delve into its history and uncover the stories behind the moai.
Galapagos Islands (Ecuador) The Galapagos Islands are a haven for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. The fusion of African, Portuguese, and indigenous influences emanates in all aspects of the city's cuisine, music, and religious traditions. Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System (Belize) The Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System is a mecca for marine enthusiasts. As you snorkel or dive through this underwater wonderland, you're surrounded by vibrant coral gardens teeming with manatees, stingrays, nurse sharks, sea turtles and colorful fish. Don't worry, nurse sharks are harmless to humans. The Belize Barrier Reef is not just a reef; it's a portal to a world beneath the waves.
