The Heart of Avanti: Our Reservations Team At the core of the Avanti Advantage is a team of highly educated and dedicated travel professionals. Spread across offices in Portland, Oregon, Washington State, Barcelona, Spain, and Manchester, England, Avanti strategically places its knowledgeable staff to provide extended hours of service, catering to clients in multiple time zones. Starting January 22, clients can connect with a Travel Consultant for an impressive 14 hours each weekday, from 3 am – 5 pm Pacific Time / 6 am – 8 pm Eastern Time.

From the Classroom to the Countryside: A Learning Journey Avanti takes pride in its comprehensive onboarding process, where staff undergo a rigorous six-week training program. Covering various aspects of customized travel, the training includes booking air and rail, utilizing proprietary software, destination insights, information on hotels and unique accommodations, and identifying the best experiences for couples, families, and groups.

Following classroom training, Travel Consultants (TCs) are mentored by Senior TCs to enhance their agility in putting together quotes while interacting with customers. Throughout the year, Avanti schedules regular training sessions for Travel Consultants, featuring insights from suppliers, tourism boards, and other partners.

Blog - Avanti Advantage EDU Italy A highlight for many team members is the opportunity to participate in hosted Educational Trips (EDUs) to countries worldwide, enriching their destination knowledge and fostering connections with suppliers. In 2023, Avanti ventured to Italy, France, the UK, Peru, Greece, Morocco, Japan, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, and Germany, ensuring that the Travel Consultants have personal experiences and a profound understanding of the logistics of the recommended locations.

TC Connect: Streamlining Your Workflow in 2024 Efficiency is a goal that Avanti consistently strives for, benefiting both the company and its customers.
